Coast & Kitchen in Billingsgate is a company that although young in years, has its heritage in 3 generations of established quality food suppliers and wholesalers.

A fusion of the best of the fishing industry and complementary quality foods is the backbone of Coast & Kitchen, meeting the specific needs of the highest calibre restauranteers and chefs in London and the South East.

ACCREDITATION

Coast & Kitchen Fish Merchants (London) Ltd are fully EEC approved (UK 5698 EC) which cover us for the import and export of all fish products in and out of the UK and we are also SALSA accredited (Safe and Local supplier approval).

We’re proud to be one of the few fully certified MSC suppliers in London, meaning we’re committed to ensuring our products are sustainably and ethically sourced right throughout the supply chain, from the fisherman who caught it, right to the plate. We’re also fully SALSA accredited, recognised as a safe and local supplier fully compliant with the highest of health and safety regulations.

We also have a fully operational HACCP plan for the business. Our premises hold a full EC cutting plant license no. 5698 with a full HACCP in place.

HACCP - EU regulations requires food business operators including fish plant operators, to implement and maintain hygiene procedures based on HCCP principles.

This legislation replaces the meat regulations (HACCP) that were in place in 2002. See HACCP Website here
